⚠️ Critical Advisory for Foreign Passport Holders: The GOBUS route from Bishkek to Talas exits Kyrgyzstan, passes directly through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (via the Chaldovar checkpoint), and then re-enters Kyrgyzstan.
Because of this geographical loop, you are subject to full international immigration controls. Please review these document requirements carefully:
- Kazakhstan Transit/Visa Status: You must verify if your nationality requires a visa to enter Kazakhstan. While citizens of many nations enjoy 30-day visa-free travel to Kazakhstan (e.g., EU citizens, UK, US, Canada, Australia, UAE), passport holders from countries that require a visa must obtain a Kazakh Transit Visa in advance.
- Kyrgyzstan Re-entry Status: Since you are physically leaving Kyrgyzstan, your initial Kyrgyz entry stamp or single-entry e-Visa becomes invalid the second you cross the border. You must ensure you have either visa-free re-entry privileges (standard for 60+ countries for up to 60 days) or a multiple-entry Kyrgyz visa to legally re-enter Kyrgyzstan on the Talas side.
